WHAT IS ALPHA? The Alpha course is an opportunity for anyone to explore the Christian faith. Its relaxed, non-threatening, low key. friendly and fun. There is a meal together at the beginning of each session which gives you an opportunity to get to know each other. Listen, learn, discuss and discover. And ask anything. Alpha is a place where no question is too simple or too hostile.
Bethany is centrally located between the A1(M) and the A19. From the A1(M) take the A690 sign posted Sunderland. From the A19 its the A690 to Durham. When you get to Houghton Le Spring take the A182 sign posted Hetton le Hole. About 150 yards from the A690 junction there is a mini roundabout, turn right and we are on the left at the bottom of the hill. You can't miss us as there's a big cross on top of the building!
