The Galatian Church was at great risk of leaving behind the truth of the gospel for man-made religion. The Apostle Paul is emphatic in reminding the Galatians that God's grace is a free, abundant gift for those who do not deserve it and can do nothing to deserve it.

As we study this letter, the theme becomes very clear…Freedom. Not just freedom from sin, from the fear of death, and from trying to be good enough for God, but freedom to experience life as God intended. No other book in the Bible explains why Christianity is completely, uniquely, and absolutely different from every other religious faith. This freedom is found only through the gospel of Jesus Christ. We are invited to live a life that is Freed!
