Sundays at Bethany during lockdowns...
You must pre-book to come to the service...simply call the church office on 01915121234 or email email@example.com to book a place.
During the current pandemic our services are available to those who are pre-booked. You can simply get in touch with the church office and we will book you in. Please also note that we are holding places available for those with special circumstances to make church inclusive for as many people as possible.
The church meets every Sunday at 10.30am for our Sunday Service. It helps to get there 15 minutes early to get a parking spot and seat in time for the service to start.
You can expect a warm, socially distanced welcome, an impacting preach, a time of communion and a friendly bunch of people gathering to learn more about God.
Due to the government's current guidelines and restrictions there will be a check-in system operating at the door on arrival, to allow us to record contact details for attendees, in line with the *NHS Test and Protect Scheme. There will also be no sung congregational worship and we will have social distancing measures in place in the seating areas and one-way systems in the corridors. Please note we will be encouraging people not to linger on the church property when the service is finished, and that access to the toilets will be restricted to dire need only - the services will be shorter at the moment so hopefully this will not be a problem! Families with young children should be aware that for now, children must remain with their parents at all times and there will be no access to toys stored in the church.
We will continue to 'live-stream' the service so you need to be aware of the cameras located at the back of the Sanctuary. If something goes wrong during the service we will need to stop everything and reset. While our main focus will be the audience in the room many more people will be watching on-line so we need to think about their experience too.
Please note that face coverings will be required inside the building apart from during communion.
Anyone who is:
vulnerable or at-risk due to health conditions or age
displaying symptoms of Covid-19
self-isolating due to living with someone who is displaying symptoms
as a result of contact tracing is staying at home to minimise the risk of

We are still going to be uploading our services on the website so you can enjoy them at home when you are not able to come to the live service.
