Sundays at Bethany...
Each week we celebrate Communion. This time of worship allows individuals to participate through song, bible reading and prayer, reminding us all of the price that was paid to unite us with God and each other.
On the first and third Sunday of the month there is a special Communion Service beginning at 9.30am. On the other Sundays, Communion is included in the 10.30 am service.
It begins with prayer
At 10:15am there is a opportunity to gather in the Conference Room for a time of prayer. We pray for one another, for everyone who will come through the doors and those involved with the days activities.
At 10.30 am a group of about 300 people, of varied ages and stages of faith, meet together to express and explore our faith in Jesus. Our meetings are informal and welcoming and we get to hear a message that is both encouraging and challenging about how Jesus can make a real difference to our lives today.
During the service the children and early teens have the opportunity to go out to age-specific groups to explore how to live well in their own context.
We take seriously the responsibility for safeguarding children and operate according to a clear and robust Child Protection Policy.
Come As You Are
Bethany is not about suits and posh frocks! We're just real people like you, and invite you to come and join us for worship. Wear what's comfortable, but don't forget one thing: Come with an attitude of expectation - God is doing something amazing in our presence!
What if I never been before?
You guaranteed a warm and friendly welcome that won't embarrass you! We try and keep a number of Car Park spaces available for first time guests. You can come early and get used to the feel of the building or you can come at 10.30 and slip in at the back if you want.
