Young People at Bethany

Young people have always been a vital part of Bethany. We want to provide an environment where they can come and connect and grow in God TOGETHER! Our Young people get together each week to grow friendships, learn about their faith and enjoy life together.

As a church we are passionate about encouraging and teaching our youth to grow as disciples of Jesus, as they live out the purpose God has called them to do.

On Sunday mornings, separate from the main service, we have a Bible class for school years 7 to 10. 'Activ8' encourages young people with a mixture of learning, discovering, sharing, helping and demonstrating their Christian faith.

Through a fun and relaxed approach, students will learn how the Bible is not a dusty old book with nothing to say to them, but actually is jumping off their shelves, packed full of relevant stuff for the young person of today The group meets each Tuesday evening during term times starting at 6:30.

Safeguarding at Bethany

At Bethany, every child is important to us! Quality preschool and children’s Bible teaching programs are available in a safe and secure environment. We take Safeguarding very seriously at Bethany. Our Safeguarding Lead is Ian Blair, our deputy Safeguarding Leads are Craig Scott and Lois Dugdale, and our DBS Lead Recruiter is Ruth Blair.
