Sundays at Bethany

On a normal Sunday, at 10.30 am, a group of over 200 people, of varied ages and stages of faith, meet together to express and explore our faith in Jesus. Our meetings are informal and welcoming and we get to hear a message that is both encouraging and challenging about how Jesus can make a real
difference to our lives today…

Small Groups

At Bethany we believe life change happens through relationship. Our hope is that you will get connected with others and with God.
For us, this happens through Small Groups...

Not Just Sundays

We have various activities throughout the week including: Bethany Cameo Club – food and fellowship for senior citizens; Bethany Toddlers – an opportunity for Mums, Dads, Grandparents and Carers to have a coffee and chat while the children play, listen to a story, sing or do craft; Coffee Drop – a weekly Coffee Morning where you can catch up with friends; Bible Studies and more…

How To Grow : Sunday 12th &19th May 6-7:30pm

“Jesus commands us to go and make disciples…making us all missionaries wherever we are placed. Just as any overseas missionary first takes time to study the culture they are about to join, have you ever done the same? With the help of Dr. Dan Strange (Director of Crosslands Training), we will examine our 21st Century culture to become better equipped in sharing the gospel with those around us.”

The NEGP is a network of churches based in the North East. Its aim is to help and support each other in ministry by providing friendship, organising training and supporting new church planting initiatives. Both our Ministry Resident, Matt Goon, and our Family Ministry Leader, Craig Scott, participate in the Ministry Training Course sponsored by the NEGP each Tuesday.

On Wednesday, 1st May, there is a Regional Celebration at Christ Church Newcastle. The purpose of the evening is simply to worship our Lord together, rejoicing in our fellowship in Christ, hearing news from other NEGP churches, and praying for one another. Dr Dan Strange from Crosslands Training will be the speaker. Doors open at 7.00pm for coffee and cake, with the celebration beginning at 7.45pm. If you would like to attend, please contact Jason.
